FAQ’s about Leagues

Also if you are assigned to a team and you don’t show up, that week that team could potentially lose points because of your absence.

Are the leagues competitive?  Yes and No, most of our leagues are played with Handicaps and averages, to make most teams on equal playing fields.  We also do Pins over averages, so if you bowl a 320 in five pin as your average you must bowl at least 320 each week, to maintain teams points.  If you bowl a 120 in bowling each week, you need to bowling at least 120.  But if you are able to bowling your average and get above it, you will gain more pins over your average.  Meaning if a good player does not do well one week, they may cost their team to win, if you start improving at bowling each week, and you can get above your average, you will most likely win and get the most points.

How long is the Bowling Season?  Typically most leagues are between 28 – 31 weeks of regular season, and 2 or 3 weeks of playoffs.  So potentially from September 8th, to May 1st.  (2025 league will run 12 weeks for the first bit).

Do league players get any discounts?  Yes, league players, do receive a discounted bar pricing, typically they will receive $1.00 any alcohol drink and 10% off any food items, while they are at the Bowling Alley, either when they are at league or in just for fun.

How do I join a league?  If you pick which league we currently have see if it fits your long-term planning schedule, and if you find one that you can commit to the most pick that one, and try your best to make it every week.

Can I bring a team?  Yes you can bring a team if there is enough space in each league, otherwise you might be asked to merge with existing teams, but we will do our best to get you into the right league.
